OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The NJCAA recently announced the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings 2026 Gold Glove Awards and included among the nine winners for 2026 was Johnson County Community College third baseman Logan Groh.

Groh becomes the third NJCAA Division 1 Baseball Gold Glove winner from Johnson County, and first since Jeremy Rader in 2023, to earn a Rawling Gold Glove award. The sophomore recorded a fielding percentage of .986 from the hot corner, with 91 putouts and 47 assists across 140 total chances. Helping JCCC turn two double plays throughout the season, Groh played the final 27 games of the season without committing an error as the Cavaliers went on to win their first NJCAA National Title in program history and had at least one putout or assist in 60 of Johnson County's 70 games this season.

At the plate, Groh led the team with a .446 average (120-for-269), adding 19 doubles, five triples, and 25 home runs. His 49 extra-base hits, 100 runs scored, and 113 RBI highlighted a dominant offensive campaign. Groh compiled a program-record 42 multi-hit games and set another single-season mark with 35 multi-RBI games. He also led the team, conference, and NJCAA in hits while tying for the lead in RBI at both the team and conference levels and finishing tied for second nationally.

In addition to his NJCAA Gold Glove Award, Groh has been selected first-team All-America by the NJCAA and ABCA/Rawlings, All-KJCCC and All-Region 6 first-team and was a KJCCC/Region 6 Gold Glove Award winner at third base.
