OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Following a four-game sweep over division foe Labette Community College, the Johnson County Community College baseball team swept this week's Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference East Division Player of the Week honors. Infielder Colin Coonradt and pitcher Liam Roche each earned recognition.

This is the fourth time this season JCCC has swept both Player and Pitcher of the Week honors, and the second time both Coonradt and Roche have been selected.

Coonradt delivered a dominant performance at the plate, posting a slash line of .500/.611/1.571 while leading the top-ranked Cavaliers to the four-game conference sweep. The freshman first baseman went 7-for-14 with five home runs, nine runs scored, four walks, and 11 RBI. He homered in all four games of the series, including a two-home run performance in the finale. Coonradt's five-homer series pushed his season total to 18 — the most in the KJCCC and the second-highest mark in NJCAA Division I.

Roche improved to 6-0 on the season with a strong outing in the series opener, an 13-3 six-inning victory. The left-hander allowed five hits and three runs (two earned) over six innings while striking out 11. It marked his second double-digit strikeout performance of the season. Roche currently leads the conference with 63 strikeouts, ranks tied for second in wins, and sits fourth in ERA at 2.80.
