OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College pitcher Denton Biller has been named to the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association Division I All-America Team as announced by the organization this week.

The freshman right-hander was one of four pitchers selected honorable mention. Biller is the 19th Johnson County player to be selected All-America by the NJCAA and sixth pitcher. He is the fourth player under the direction of head coach Eric Horner and third pitcher.

In May, Biller also was named All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College East Division and All-Region 6 first-team.

Biller made starts 15 starts for the Cavaliers while posting an unblemished 10-0 record while helping JCCC to a third-straight appearance in the NJCAA JUCO World Series. His 10 victories tied for second in the conference, tied for eighth in the NJCAA and rank eighth on JCCC' season chart. His 15 starts tie for sixth on JCCC season chart.

Biller recorded 69 strikeouts in 64 and one-third innings pitched and held opponents to a .226 average while only allowing 12 extra base hits.

In week 13 of the season, Biller was selected the KJCCC East Pitcher of the Week after picking up two wins against Baker and Coffeyville. He allowed zero runs, five hits and struck out nine over eight innings in those two starts.

In his only appearance at the World Series, Biller struck out six batters over three and one-third innings to set a new single game strikeout record by a JCCC pitcher in a World Series game.  That also tied for the most recorded over an entire World Series.
