OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference announced that Johnson County Community College pitcher Denton Biller has been selected the Baseball Pitcher of the Week for week 13. This is his first time being selected.

Biller picked up two victories last week to run his season record to 9-0. The freshman right-hander logged the first two innings in a 23-0 blowout over Baker, allowing one hit with four strikeouts. Biller capped the week by allowing four hits across six shutout innings with five strikeouts in a 12-2 win at Coffeyville.

Biller's nine victories lead the conference. He has struck out 59 batters over 57 and one-third innings on the mound with an ERA of 3.16. His 59 strikeouts rank fifth in the conference.
