Hoy selected CSC Academic All-America® Women’s At-Large Team College Division

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College women's soccer standout Brecken Hoy has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Women's At-Large Team College Division, earning second-team honors. She is the 10th female student-athlete to receive CSC Academic All-America® recognition and fourth from the women's soccer program to earn the distinction.

This past season, Hoy was selected as an All-American by both the NJCAA Division II and United Soccer Coaches Association. She also earned All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference and All-Region 6 Division II first-team honors and was named the KJCCC D-II Offensive Player of the Year.

Hoy played a pivotal role in leading Johnson County to an undefeated regular season and a program-record 21-1-1 overall mark. The Cavaliers captured both the KJCCC Championship and Region 6 titles, held the No. 1 national ranking in the final two polls of the season, including the year-end poll, and qualified for the NJCAA D-II National Tournament.

During her two-year career, Hoy helped guide the program win two conference championships, two Region 6 titles, one district championship, and two national tournament appearances, including a national runner-up finish in 2024. The Cavaliers posted an outstanding 40-2-5 record during her career, marking the most successful  best two-year stretch in JCCC history.

Hoy was instrumental in directing a high-powered Johnson County offense that ranked fifth nationally in goals, second in assists and third in total points. She led the conference in goals (14), assists (21), points (49) and game-winning goals (7). Nationally, she ranked third in assists and game-winners and 17th in points. Her 21 assists are tied for fourth-most in a single season in program history, while her seven game-winning goals are tied for third-most. Hoy concluded her career ranked sixth all-time in assists (30) and 13th in points (78) at Johnson County.
