Title:

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Remaining unbeaten on the season with wins over Southeast Community College and Kansas City Kansas Community College last week, the No. 2-ranked Johnson County Community College women's soccer team swept the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors for week six.

Sophomore midfielder Tatum Bresette was named Offensive Player of the Week, while sophomore goalkeeper Avery Young collected her sixth consecutive Goalkeeper of the Week award.

Bresette powered the Cavaliers' attack in both victories. She recorded a goal and an assist in a 15-0 rout of Southeast, then delivered the game-winner in a 2-0 triumph over No. 10-ranked KCKCC. She now totals five goals and four assists on the season.

Young continued her dominant season in net, extending her shutout streak to 686 minutes, 4 seconds. She has not allowed a goal in her last nine starts. Last week, she turned away all five shots faced against KCKCC to preserve the shutout. For the year, Young owns a perfect 10-0-0 record with four solo clean sheets and four combined. Her 0.12 goals-against average ranks first among all NJCAA Division II goalkeepers.
