Three JCCC women’s soccer players earn all-conference honors

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Three members from the Johnson County women's soccer team were recently named as Kansas Jayhawk Conference East Division performers for the 2022 season.  Sophomore forward Riley Porter and sophomore midfielder Monique Fair earned first-team recognition, and freshman forward Megan Everhart was second-team selection.  Porter and Fair were all-conference selections last season as well.

Porter finished second on the team in points with 22, goals scored with seven and assists with eight. Her 22 points ranked eighth in the East Jayhawk standings. Here seven goals tied for seventh and her eight assists tied for sixth. Porter closed out her career with 21 goals, 10 assists and 52 points. 

Fair has been a key defensive midfielder over her two seasons at JCCC. This year she helped key a defense that posted a goals against average of 2.07 with three shutouts. She also helped out on the offensive end with two assists. 

Everhart was the team's top scorer with 30 points. She also led the team with 10 goals and 10 assists. In the conference standings, she finished fourth in points, tied fifth in goals scored and tied for second in assists. She also led the team and was tied for third in the conference with four game winning goals.
