OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – As the regular season enters its final stretch, the Johnson County Community College women's and men's basketball teams stand alone in college basketball.

JCCC is now the only school at any level — NJCAA or NCAA — with both its men's and women's programs undefeated.

That distinction became official on February 14 when Vanderbilt's men's team suffered its first loss of the season, falling 80–64 to Texas. While the Commodores' women remained unbeaten, the loss left Johnson County as the lone combined undefeated program in the country.

Since then, the Cavaliers have continued to roll.

The JCCC women are 25–0 and hold the No. 1 ranking in the NJCAA Division II poll. The men sit at 24–0 and are ranked No. 3 nationally in NJCAA Division II. Together, the programs boast a remarkable 49–0 combined record.

With postseason play approaching, Johnson County's dominance has positioned both teams not only for conference titles, but for a rare opportunity to complete historic unbeaten regular seasons.
