JCCC’s Archdekin and Harrison earn KJCCC D-II Softball weekly honors

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference announced the Division II Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week for week six, and Johnson County freshman catcher Hannah Archdekin and sophomore right-handed pitcher Jordan Harrison were recipients. 

Last week, Archdekin hit .600 (3-for-5) with a home run and four RBI to help lead the Lady Cavaliers to win over Indian Hills and North Iowa Area. 

Harrison took the circle against North Iowa Area and hurled a complete game victory, allowing just one run off three hits while striking out eight batters. Harrison currently lead the conference with an earned run average of 0.50. She is 2-0 on this young season with 11 strikeouts in 14.0 innings pitched.  Last season, Harrison garnered both first-team All-KJCCC D-II and All-Region VI/District A honors.
