0VERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) announced its week 13 award recipients, and Johnson County sophomore IF/OF Katie Enneking was named the D-II Softball Player of the Week, and freshman right-hander Jordan Harrison was named the Pitcher of the Week.
Enneking batted.400 last week (2-for-5) in double header split with No. 16-ranked Kansas City Kansas last weekend. She had a triple in a 7-2 setback in the opener, and followed with a double, a walk, a run scored and two RBI in a 5-0 win in the second game. Enneking is batting .349 (44-for-126) with 12 extra base hits and 33 driven in.
Harrison held No. 16-ranked Kansas City Kansas scoreless for six innings, scattering four hits with five strikeouts to pick up her ninth victory on the season. She leads JCCC's pitching staff with 96 strikeouts.
